Comcast Posts Strong Growth in Broadband Subs in 3Q

Comcast signed up roughly 170,000 new cable-modem subscribers in the third quarter, bringing its total subscriber count to over 1.3 million. Sign-ups for broadband have more than doubled in the past year and a half. Meanwhile, the company saw its cable revenues grow 12% during the period.
