SED Systems Releases M&C ProductSED Systems’ new MCS monitor and control system for satellite earth stations is scalable for applications from small uplink facilities to large satellite earth stations, including worldwide remote sites. It addresses the requirements of Teleport Operators, Satellite Operators and Service Providers. MCS is the culmination of over 10 years experience providing M&C systems. The powerful MCS GUI provides multiple user-defined views of the network. The Visual Editor allows the user to expand and change the network definition by dragging and dropping equipment from an extensive library. MCS supports virtually all equipment interface standards and software protocols. Device characteristics can be set and changed easily. Users can view current or historical alarms and events, then quickly trace and change signal paths. MCS integrates easily with existing business and network management systems or with SED’s Centralized Management System.
